Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings (2009) is a globe-trotting action-adventure designed specifically for the PSP by Amaze Entertainment. While the Wii version was famous for its motion controls, the PSP version focused on refined, traditional combat, light platforming, and puzzle-solving tailored for portable play.

The Plot in a Nutshell:

The journey begins in Sudan, where Indy searches for a ram’s head idol. He soon discovers his former mentor, Charles Kingston, has disappeared while tracking the legendary Staff used by Moses. The quest takes Indy from a subterranean ship graveyard in San Francisco to Panama, Istanbul, and finally to a climactic showdown on a Nazi Zeppelin over the Red Sea.

Unlike some other versions, the PSP version doesn’t use password-entry cheats. Instead, you unlock cheats and features by collecting Artifacts hidden throughout the levels.

The Bad

• Visual Limitations: In 2026, the PS2-era character models look quite dated compared to later PSP titles like God of War.
