Tokyo Yamanote Boys Portable: Honey Milk Disc (2012) is the first entry in the Tokyo Yamanote Boys (TYB) otome visual novel series. Originally a PC title, the PSP “Portable” version expanded the experience with new scenarios and improved accessibility. It is known for its high-energy “Love Royale” premise and a surprisingly dark sci-fi twist.
The Premise: The Love Royale
Every year, one high school girl is chosen as the “Princess” of Tokyo. Nine “super high-spec” boys from the city’s various districts are then selected to compete for her heart over seven days.

The Goal: At the end of the seven days, the Princess must choose one boy to be her “Prince.”

The Catch: While it starts as a fluffy dating competition, the plot eventually introduces a dark mystery involving a “killer virus” known as Creeping VI, which feeds on human emotions and is tied to the competition itself.
Honey Milk Disc Characters
The TYB series is split into several “Discs,” each focusing on a different trio of boys. Honey Milk features the first three representatives:
