Tokyo Yamanote Boys Portable: Dark Cherry Disc (2013) is the third and final main entry in the Tokyo Yamanote Boys (TYB) series on PSP. While Honey Milk was light and Super Mint was refreshing, Dark Cherry lives up to its name by being the most intense, mature, and plot-heavy disc of the trilogy, finally bringing the “Love Royale” to its dramatic conclusion.
The Dark Cherry Characters
The boys in this disc are generally more “rough around the edges” or have more complex backstories than the previous trios.

The Plot: Ending the Love Royale
Since this is the third disc, the “Creeping VI” virus plotline reaches its peak here.

The Seven Days: The tournament structure remains (dating and confession battles), but the mystery of why the “Princess” was chosen and the true nature of the virus are fully explained.

The Antagonist: The presence of the “Killer” becomes much more literal and threatening in this disc, shifting the game from a dating sim into a high-stakes survival thriller.

True End: Only after completing the routes in Dark Cherry (and ideally having save data from the previous two discs) can you fully grasp the entire TYB narrative.

Voice Acting: Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Iori) and Yuuki Kaji (Lucy) deliver some of the best performances in the entire series.
The Bad

Darker Tone: Some players who enjoyed the “fluffy” dating aspects of Honey Milk might find the heavy drama and sci-fi virus plot in Dark Cherry a bit too jarring.
